I added a gorgeous glow to my front door with an £5 Aldi buy – they cost nothing to run, work in winter & last for years

LOOKING to spruce up the front of your house but on a budget? Aldi has a range of Specialbuys that do the job. 2 Posting to the Aldi UK Shoppers Facebook group, a customer shared their recent buy. The comment read: "Happy with my middle isle item today looks lovely." And attached two photographs of the item in question: Solar Spiral Light Multi Coloured. Priced at £4.99 they make a lovely addition to the front of your house or in your garden. Powered by solar light, they also cost nothing to run! While the lights were recently stocked in stores, it seems they are not a new item according to other Aldi customers. One commented: "They are lovely git some last year and they have worked all through winter and still going strong." Some shoppers questioned the longevity of the product: "They are nice I had one lasted two years before it stopped working and went rusty." Another replied: "I got barely 12 months out of mine." And one shared some advice: "I always put put solar lights in the house under a lamp or light for two nights before putting outside I think it charges them up better and they last longer." How do get the perfect summer glow up with Aldi's latest middle aisle beauty buys including a £4.99 serum that'll revitalise dull skin AND smells amazing Over the next few days, there's loads of garden toys hitting Aldi stores. Games up for grabs include a giant four-in-a-row scanning for £26.99 and Basketball Hoop for £39.99. The bargain store will also sell a giant octopus sprinkler for £19.99. The toy comes with four different sprinklers for extra fun and a hose adaptor so you can use it in your back garden. Shoppers can also choose from a unicorn design. A similar product is scanning for £25 quid at Argos so there is a chance to save over £5. Why do Aldi and Lidl have such fast checkouts IF you've ever shopped in Aldi or Lidl then you'll probably have experienced its ultra-fast checkout staff. Aldi's speedy reputation is no mistake, in fact, the supermarket claims that its tills are 40 per cent quicker than rivals. It's all part of Aldi's plan to be as efficient as possible - and this, the budget shop claims, helps keep costs low for shoppers. Efficient barcodes on packaging means staff are able to scan items as quickly as possible, with the majority of products having multiple barcodes to speed up the process. It also uses 'shelf-ready' packaging which keeps costs low when it comes to replenishing stock.
